In January 2005, producer Mihnea de Vries set up a joint venture with producer Eduard Schneider, joining their companies, DeVries Films and Schneider Productions. The new company, Schneider/Devries Productions became later Red Pixel Films.

A few months later, after Red Pixel Films built one of the biggest bluescreen stages in Romania, Mihnea de Vries produced the first music video in Romania that was entirely shot on a bluescreen, having full computer generated 3D backgrounds.

Prior to Red Pixel Films, Mihnea de Vries owned DeVries Films, a company specialized in producing music videos. Before that, Mihnea was at Viza Music, working as a music producer for top Romanian artists. together with hit maker composer and producer, Ionut Radu. Mihnea came to Viza Music from Ovidiu Komornyik's OvoMusic where he was doing sound design. Before that, he was doing sound engineering at Cristian Faur's Chartmaker Records.
